1. Who is responsible for processing your data

2. What data we collect and why

The only personal data this Site collects is what you choose to enter into the contact form: your name, email address and the description of your project. When you click "Send enquiry", this data is submitted through the Site's hosting provider (Netlify) and delivered to VIMASTAT's email inbox. It is stored in VIMASTAT's account with that provider until it is deleted, and it is used only to handle your enquiry.

Purpose: to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss a potential engagement.

Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the consent box before sending, and, once a conversation begins, VIMASTAT's legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry addressed to it directly.

3. How long we keep your data

Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and, where a professional relationship follows, for the duration of that relationship plus any period required by applicable tax and commercial record-keeping obligations. Data from enquiries that do not lead to further contact is deleted within a reasonable period, and in any case no later than 24 months after the last exchange.

4. Who your data is shared with

Your data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. It may be accessed by service providers strictly necessary to operate this Site and VIMASTAT's email and administrative systems, in particular Netlify, Inc. (website hosting and contact form processing) and the email provider, acting as data processors under a data processing agreement and, where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, subject to appropriate safeguards, and it will only be disclosed to public authorities where required by law.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR and the Spanish Ley Orgánica 3/2018 (LOPDGDD), you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability by writing to info@vimastat-biostatistics.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) if you believe your data has been processed unlawfully.

6. Fonts and third-party resources

This Site's typefaces are hosted on VIMASTAT's own server rather than loaded from a third-party font provider, so visiting this Site does not send your IP address to an external font service. This Site does not use analytics or advertising cookies, and browsing it does not transmit personal data to third parties beyond the technical data (such as your IP address) that any web hosting provider necessarily processes to deliver the pages.
